The Midland Development Corporation Supports the Physician Recruitment at Midland Memorial Hospital

April 3, 2017 (Midland, Texas) – The Midland Development Corporation (MDC) offers continued support to the Midland Memorial Hospital to recruit physicians to Midland. A strategic plan has been put into motion to fill specialty and general practitioner healthcare gaps that currently exist in the Midland community.

The MDC and Midland Memorial Hospital are two years into an initial agreement that would reimburse the hospital for its expenses associated with physician recruitment in an amount up to $450,000 in 2017.

March 29, 2017 (Midland, Texas) – The Midland Development Corporation (MDC) approved an Interlocal Agreement with the University of Texas of the Permian Basin by and through its Small Business Development Center (SBDC) for an amount not to exceed $264,000 for the Midland Entrepreneurial Challenge, to be operated and managed by America’s SBDC, located at the Center for Energy and Economic Diversification (CEED).

The City of Midland and the Midland Development Corporation Announce Agreement with LeoLabs, Inc.

September 13, 2016 (Midland, Texas) – The Midland City Council and the Midland Development Corporation (MDC) approved two agreements with LeoLabs, Inc., a company offering space debris tracking services.

The city of Midland has executed a License Agreement regarding city-owned property for the use of LeoLabs.

The MDC has entered into a promotional agreement with LeoLabs, Inc., which will include advertising and publicizing for the City of Midland for the purpose of developing new and expanded business enterprises.
