About the Midland International Air & Space Port

The Midland International Air & Space Port is the first commercial spaceport co-located with an FAA Part 139 commercial airport and its services and resources. The spaceport is an FAA-approved Commercial Space Launch Site (spaceport), making it ideal for companies producing, testing, and launching satellites and reusable vehicles.

The City of Midland owns and operates the Midland International Air & Space Port while the Midland Development Corporation markets the Midland Spaceport and the Midland Spaceport Business Park to the aerospace industry and the commercial space industry.

Current tenants at the Midland Spaceport Business Park include a satellite technology company that manufactures and launches satellites. Additional sites in the business park are ready for occupancy and leasing incentives are available for qualifying companies. Contact us for information!

The spaceport activity is a subset of the airport and is set apart from the main terminal and ongoing commercial operations.

Fueling growth, reaching new heights.
